• ⭐ Software Defined Network with NSG (GA): This feature allows customers to create and manage network security groups (NSGs) and network security rules for their Azure Local VMs, providing enhanced network security and segmentation capabilities.

• ⭐ Rack Aware Cluster (Public Preview): This allows customers to define local availability zones based on physical racks in their datacenter, enhancing the cluster resilience, minimizing the risk of data loss and downtime in the event of a rack-level failure.

• ⭐ Deployment using Local Identity (Public Preview): Also known as AD-Less Deployment, this feature allows customers to deploy Azure Local with Local identity to simplify edge infrastructure deployment by reducing dependencies.

• ⭐ Trusted Virtual Machine Guest Attestation (Public Preview): This Preview feature lets customers verify that the virtual machine starts in a well-known state by checking the integrity of the entire boot chain. This helps detect any unexpected changes to the boot chain (firmware, OS boot loader, and drivers).
