Free Microsoft Certification Exam at Microsoft Ignite The Tour

You may remember some of my blog posts around Microsoft Azure Certification, like Why you should become Azure Certified or how to pass an Azure Certification exam. Now you have a great chance to get a free exam offer. If you are attending one of the Microsoft Ignite The Tour 2019-2020 events, you are getting a free certification exam voucher for one of the following exams. You don’t need to take the exam at the event itself. You will get a voucher that will allow you to register and schedule an exam later. And yes, if you were at Microsoft Ignite 2019 in Orlando, you can register for that too.

[cta title=”Offer details” button=”Free Exam Offer” link=”https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/microsoft-ignite-free-certification-exam-offer?WT.mc_id=thomasmaurer-blog-thmaure”]If you attended Microsoft Ignite 2019 or a Microsoft Ignite The Tour 2019-2020 event, you may be eligible to receive one free Microsoft fundamentals, role-based, or specialty certification exam. The free exam offer is available for redemption from the beginning of the event, which you are attending, and is valid for 180 days after the last day of the event. If you do not schedule an exam within that timeframe, you will not be able to redeem your offer.[/cta]

Q: Why do the terms and conditions of this offer state residents of Hong Kong, Russia, Switzerland, Israel, Germany, or Sweden are ineligible?

A: Residents of these territories are ineligible for this offer due to Microsoft’s gifting policy and local laws. Each of these countries have specific laws that limit what any company can gift its residents, and the value of our certification exams exceed limits and therefore, Microsoft is unable to offer residents of these countries a free exam.

    Hello Thomas,

Hope you are doing well. Remember we met at the Milan Ignite event in the Azure Arc booth. I had a question regarding this post for free certification vouchers. i had enrolled with a different outlook account for ignite registration, but my MCP ID email account is different. Can i merge both the accounts to show the exam that i would be taking as per Microsoft free certification voucher gets updated in my MCP ID. Kindly let me know if there is a way to do so.

    Many thanks,
    Himangshu Malik

Ignite Amsterdam 2020 is cancelled because of the Corona thread, I had a ticket for this event and was hoping to get a free voucher for Azure Fundamentals & Administration. Is it possible to get these vouchers for registered visitors even the event is cancelled?
