I was part of the panel including IDC Senior Cloud Analyst Carla Arend and Stefaan Becu the Lead Architect from the Flemish Regional Government. As part of the Azure engineering team, I will be showing you how you can leverage Microsoft Azure as a control plane using Azure Arc and learn how to be more effective and compliant with cloud governance in a hybrid world.

Carla Arend is a senior program director with the European software and infrastructure research team and heads up IDC’s European cloud research. She provides clients with key insight into market dynamics, vendor activities, and end-user adoption trends in the European cloud market.
Stefaan Becu, Lead Architect, Flemish Regional Government, Belgium
Stefaan Becu is a senior architect working in the “Digitaal Vlaanderen” agency that provides IT services within the Flemish administration; He is responsible for the cloud programme and the datacenter and cloud vision and strategy. He also leads the cloud strategy workgroup in the government
Thomas Maurer, Senior Cloud Advocate, Microsoft
Thomas works as a Senior Cloud Advocate in the Microsoft Azure engineering team (Cloud + AI). He engages with the community and customers around the world to share his knowledge and collect feedback to improve the Azure cloud platform.
