Another great year ends and 2012 is just around the corner. 2011 was a successful year but I think 2012 will be even better. The private cloud products we all have talked about in the past months like System Center 2012 and Windows Server 8 will finally be released. And I am sure a lot of other stuff is coming in 2012.
I hope you all had fun reading my blog posts and tweets. I have learned a lot in the past year and had the chance to talk to a lot of interesting people.

Some predictions for 2012:

• 2012 will be the year of Hyper-V (by Aidan Finn)
•  Windows 8 will be released
• I will buy my first Windows Tablet
• My blog will hit the magic line of 2000 unique visitors a day
• A lot of interesting project
• System Center 2012 change the datacenter
• Windows Phone will get some market share
• I will do my private cloud proof of concept for my diploma thesis

The New Xbox TV Experience: Entertainment on Your Terms

Xbox 360 teams up with partners around the world to offer new entertainment services on Xbox LIVE, including live and on-demand TV, movies, games, sports, music and more. Starting this Holiday season, the entertainment services you want will be a voice command away and searchable via Bing voice search.

Microsoft released a free software called “Mouse Without Borders” which allows you running multiple computers with one keyboard and mouse like Synergy. But the “Mouse Without Borders” brings a lot of cool features and an easy setup.

• Use your mouse seamlessly
• Drag files across computers
• Copy & paste across computers
• Share one keyboard across computers
• Lock or log into all of your PCs at one time and share screen captures from one PC to another

Sometimes you just need some new toys to play with. I ordered two new toys. A Microsoft Zune HD with a Docking station which I will use in my living room as “media station” and in my car. The wireless sync is perfect for that, so I can park in front of my flat to sync my Zune.

The second one is the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse. I needed a good mouse for my notebook. Even the Track pad of my HP Elitebook is really great, if you need to work a little more I enjoy using a mouse. First the Arc Touch Mouse is really cool and does not waste a lot of space in my bag.

This is just a quick note about one of the coolest Windows Twitter clients. Since some months I started using MetroTwit and I loved it.

Last week I came back from my vacation at Crete with my girlfriend. This holiday was really relaxing. I can recommend everyone to visit the largest and most populous place of the greek islands. Crete offers a lot more to see besides the great beach and really good food.

Wow some years ago I could not think about buying a zune. And now I think this isa great product.
